OUR COOL BLUE ARCHITECTS is a design firm dedicated to designing architecture which supports the beginning of ecological restoration and does not contribute to global warming and climate change, while future proofing our client’s investments.
The principal of OUR COOL BLUE has significant experience in a broad range of projects types ranging from institutional, commercial, single family and multi unit residential and master planning. Above all else, our strong commitment to sustainable design sets us apart from other small and large architecture practices.
Our Cool Blue Architects supports the AIA and RAIC endorsed 2030 Challenge, and have made a commitment to design all new projects to LEED™ Certifiable Standards, regardless of whether the projects will pursue LEED™ certification or not. It is simply the right thing to do and we are pleased to offer this level of service as Added Value.
We offer full architectural services to the public and private sectors ranging from the design of individual environments to the master planning of large-scale developments, and project management, always collaborating with our clients to reduce their environmental footprints.
OUR MISSION
OUR COOL BLUE ARCHITECTS feels a deep sense of stewardship and responsibility for our beautiful planet. Within the context of global warming, knowing that buildings are responsible for at least 30% of the World’s Green House Gasses, Our Cool Blue Architects are ‘dedicated to global cooling’ of our beautiful blue planet, through the design and construction of sustainable architecture.
We have a responsibility to address these issues and propose solutions that respect the natural environment while also meeting the needs of our clients and our communities. Our practice explores among other things the need to balance the needs of the human and natural world, and understand and use the tools that we have to ensure the built environment is in step with the natural world. The need to learn to design Regenerative Buildings or Living Buildings is the vision that we are moving towards.
